We offer piano and keyboard lessons for all playing levels, ages 6 and up. Whether you are a complete beginner, an intermediate player or a an advanced pianist looking to go pro, we can help you become the piano player you always wanted to be!

Our instructors are professional piano and keyboard players who play in bands, perform, and record. Our lessons are tailored to your unique goals, musical taste and the amount of time you have to practice every week. We are fluent in music theory and have tons of experience in creating a personalized piano curriculum that will take you where you want to go.

Lessons take place in our newly renovated studios in Lafayette, CA right off the freeway. We have a private parking lot, and street parking is plentiful. We are less than a mile away from Lafayette BART, and the way over is perfect for walking or cycling.

Have zero music experience? Never even sat at a piano or keyboard before? We will love to help you get started! Whether you aspire to play popular songs on the family piano during the holidays, perform professionally or compose your own music, we can help you develop the basic skills necessary to achieve these goals. There are few overnight sensational learning techniques, but there are tons of fun and manageable ways to learn how to become a pianist or keyboardist. If you are not sure you have the commitment to practice, we’ll show you how to see, hear and value the daily progress you achieve during your quest of becoming a musician.

Playing piano is something you enjoy but you hear other performers play richer chords, seemingly complex rhythms and more structured scales. How do they do that? This is your opportunity to take your current skills and build on them. We will help you understand and apply more evolved techniques to your practice routine and playing. You will be the performer other pianists and keyboardists wonder about. Practicing more efficiently, you will be able to become an advanced player in a realistic timeframe, tailored to your own personal goal and level of commitment.

You have been playing for a while now but want a better understanding of the music you play and if not already, start making a professional career of your musical knowledge. Or, you might just want to take your talents to the next level and comp and solo more effortlessly. Are you still playing left hand bass with an ensemble that already includes a bass player? We will help you develop your own personal style that utilizes your pre-learned musical knowledge and incorporates new and exciting techniques. You can never learn enough about music and we are at your disposal, eager to teach you.

Music is our love, our passion, and our trade. We have spent decades studying, practicing, and mastering this craft, eventually turning it into our livelihood. We rehearse regularly to stay on top of our game, follow industry trends and fashions, exchange ideas with other musicians constantly and strive to get better every single day.

While the studios are open every day of the week, we can’t all be there all the time. However, most of us are available for lessons on multiple days throughout the week. Our quick online booking process matches your schedule with your instructor’s availability and helps you find the best day and time for your lesson. Want to reserve that day and time every week? Click the “recurring” tab after choosing a day and time. Prefer to book a different date every time? Be our guest. You can even book multiple lessons in advance, each at a different day and time.

Your instrument, a notebook, and a will to rock and roll! A list of songs you like is also a great idea.

We sure can! Introducing you to new ideas, techniques, methods, scales and musical concepts, will help you break out of your rut and regain your long lost enthusiasm. In addition to that, we will make sure you improve gradually from week to week and help you establish a proper practicing regimen. We’ll teach you how to be meticulous about your playing and maybe even show you a secret trick or two ;)

You can definitely borrow, just make sure that you are free to keep it for a while because you will need it to practice at home between lessons. However, in the long run, it’s probably best to own your instrument.

Monthly Lesson Plans

Our monthly lesson plans are designed for committed students who take lessons regularly and would like to reserve the same day and time with their favorite instructor. Missed a lesson? Couldn’t make it this month? No worries! Your unused lessons roll-over from month to month so you will never be charged for lessons that you did not attend (just don’t forget to let us know 48 hours in advance).

Lesson Plans for Kids

While we strongly recommend 1-hour lessons for aspiring musicians of any age, we appreciate that some kids have a hard time focusing for a full hour, especially the younger ones. To help, we offer 30-min lessons for children under the age of 12.
