ModernTone Studios is looking to hire excellent music instructors to join our team. If you’re an experienced player, singer, or producer who loves to teach aspiring musicians, you’re in the right place.
This position enables you to focus on music and teaching and never have to deal with billing, scheduling, marketing, advertising, or any other distractions. Applicants must be active working musicians with teaching experience. Ability to teach multiple instruments and/or music production is a huge plus.
Lessons take place at our renovated, soundproof and acoustically treated studio space in Lafayette, which operates as both a school of music and a full-service recording studio. You will be surrounded by music all day and work closely with talented and kind professional musicians who are excited to share their passion of music with students and clients of all ages and walks of life.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 years of playing experience
- 1 year of teaching experience (3 or more student reviews – a plus!)
- Must be an active musician (play/arrange music professionally on a regular basis)
- Motivated, passionate and committed
- Positive, hardworking and genuinely nice
- Available for Saturday / Sunday lessons – a plus!
