ModernTone Studios is a full-service recording facility, music production house, and music academy led by working producers and performing musicians. We work across recording, artist development, education, live events, and creative production.
Our internship program is designed for serious students and emerging professionals who want hands-on, real-world experience inside an active music ecosystem.
This is a unique and multi faceted internship that will show you the day to day operations of a successful production house and music academy. Internships are available in 3-month and 6-month tracks depending on school requirements and studio needs.
Program Overview
Interns at ModernTone participate in:

- Structured onboarding and studio orientation
- Mentorship from assigned staff members
- Shadowing in real sessions, rehearsals, and projects
Time Commitment: 4–12 hours per week (flexible based on school schedule)
Compensation: Unpaid educational internship. School credit may be available.

For aspiring engineers, producers, and audio professionals.
You may:
- Shadow recording sessions and assist with setup/teardown
- Learn signal flow and studio routing
- Assist with session organization and file prep
- Support light editing and mix prep (as trained)
Participate in a guided technical project
