Bio
Jenna Abbott is a professional vocalist, pianist, and vocal coach dedicated to helping singers build healthy, confident, and expressive voices. With a strong foundation in classical voice and performance, she combines technical precision with an encouraging, student-centered approach that invites exploration across musical styles. Jenna believes that confidence and artistry grow when students connect technique to the music they love, and she tailors each lesson to support both skill-building and creative growth.
Originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jenna began singing at a young age through church and children’s choir, later discovering her passion for classical voice through concert and show choir. She began formal voice study at 16 and competed extensively in solo classical voice. Jenna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance with an emphasis in Classical Voice from the University of Northern Colorado and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in the Music Industry at the University of Miami. She also holds a Music Copyright Law certificate from Berklee.
An accomplished performer, Jenna has appeared with Opera Colorado and ChoralSong of Colorado Springs and has performed at venues including Carnegie Hall, the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, and the Pikes Peak Performing Arts Center. Her operatic credits include Adele (Die Fledermaus), Polly Peachum (The Threepenny Opera), and Clarice (Il Mondo Della Luna), along with soprano solo work in Handel’s Messiah and Fauré’s Requiem. Known for her “angelic” and “flutey” soprano timbre, Jenna brings real-world performance insight into every lesson. As a teacher, she is supportive, engaging, and deeply invested in helping students find confidence, artistry, and their own authentic musical voice – whether at the piano, behind the microphone, or on the stage.
